Dementia Care

Dementia is a complex condition which makes you or your loved ones suffer from memory loss which is generally noticed by the near and dear ones, have difficulty in communication, especially finding the right words to communicate and have reduced ability to organise, plan, reason, or solve problems. They will have difficulty handling complex tasks, difficulty with coordination and motor functions, are unable to find objects or persons, have loss of or reduced visual perception and generally appear disorientated and confused.

At Care Pilot we understand how difficult it is for anyone to see their loved ones

suffer from dementia and being unable to do the things that they have done with them all their life. With our advanced care and support, you can rest assured that we will do everything we can to make this a more manageable situation for all involved.

At Care Pilot

What we do:

• Offer a regular or live in experienced Care Pilot carer who understands dementia and treats you or your loved one with respect and dignity. We will ensure that carers are placed in long-term assignments, minimising the anxiety associated with someone different coming to provide care for your loved one each day.
• Preparation and cooking of nutritious and delicious meals whilst taking into consideration individual dietary requirements
• Support with continence care, skin integrity care and bathing
• Household tasks
• Help to arrange and support engagement with medical appointments as well as community and family activities.
• Reminding and encouragement to take medication
• Caring and friendly companionship
